We live here, and despite our better judgement, decided to start throwing shows, open basically to anyone. Weird.

Part house, part gallery, part venue- Rhinoceropolis is the somewhat underground, well, place that these people live at, host DJs and shows, and sell art. A funky house, walk on in and you enter an open space with paintings and installation art, people either talking about the art on the walls, or dancing to the music provided by the DJ a few steps away. The next room is what you might call a kitchen, with someone handing you a beer for a donation, couches, and the previous day's dishes and groceries. Not to mention you're surrounded by people who are far and above hipster classification. These people eat and breathe underground and DIY culture. They were even voted as Westword's Best Mixed-Use Venue. I went with some friends once last year, and I'm itching to go back soon.
